These are size 11 ring swivels made for building spinner rigs. The opening has a crooked shape, so the hook slides straight on without prising open a QC swivel with pliers. A piece of shrink tubing or a Kicker then covers the join and holds the hook at the right angle.
The XX version has a thicker wire gauge than the original and is meant for larger hooks, such as size 1s and 2s. Use it with the new XL Kickers, which fit over the crook and the bigger hook eye. The ring end gives plenty of movement and suits a tight crimp or more supple material tied directly to it. Each pack holds ten swivels.
