The Korda Straight Point is a barbed carp hook built on the brand's Wide Gape pattern. The shank is longer, the eye is turned in by 15 degrees, and the tapered point runs straight. It is forged from Japanese steel and PTFE coated, and the point is sharp when it comes out of the packet.
The gauge is heavier than on the Wide Gape, giving X-gauge strength like other hooks in the Korda range. It suits anglers tying a wide range of modern carp rigs, from pop-ups on Spinner rigs to wafters on D-rigs. Each pack holds 10 hooks and the sizes are 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.
