Korda SUBbraid is a fast-sinking braided mainline in a muted green colour. It has no stretch, so the rod picks up small changes in the lake bed as the lead drops and when it is pulled back. That makes it useful for finding spots and clipping up without reaching for a marker rod.
It must be used with a leader to keep the braid away from the fish's flanks. Fluorocarbon adds a little give during the fight, while leadcore or tubing also does the job. It suits anglers who want to feel for the drop with confidence, especially in an unfamiliar swim. Choose 15lb or 20lb, on a 450m or 1200m spool.
