The Korda Tip Safe is a set of neoprene sleeves for protecting a rod while you move around the lake. Once the rod is broken down and folded in half, the tip protector slides over the two spigot ends. This helps keep them from being scratched or chipped, and keeps mud and grit off them.
The neoprene is stretchy, so one size fits any rod and holds the two sections close together. A second sleeve goes at the other end of the rod and holds the butt end and the rod tip together, fastened with a Velcro strap. It suits anglers who walk or barrow their rods between swims with them made up.
