This is a braided shock leader from Nash, rated at 50lb. It was tested and developed by Marc Voosen and is made from PE fibres, which the maker says are 15 times stronger than steel for their diameter. It has a low-viz green finish.
A slick Teflon coating helps the leader resist abrasion and reduces friction through the rings, which helps cut down ring wrap when you cast repeatedly. It is aimed at anglers who cast heavy leads and Dot Spods and need plenty of shock strength. It can also be used as a snag leader.
