This is a large beanie-style unhooking mat from Nash. The base is 70mm of foam, topped with poly balls to cushion the fish. Foam sides, 50mm x 50mm, hold the poly balls in the centre of the mat so they stay under the fish.
A Velcro retention cover goes over the mat, and elastic loops and toggles hold it secure when it is not in use. There is also a Velcro pocket for carp care products and forceps. It suits anglers who want a roomy, well-padded mat for landing and unhooking carp, and who don't mind carrying 3.5kg.
