Nash Claw Long Shank X Hooks

The Claw Long Shank X is a carp hook that keeps the stepped and angled bend of the Claw pattern and adds a longer shank, inturned at 35 degrees. Nash says this helps with anti-eject performance, turning speed and hook holds. The extra shank length suits Slip D, Blowback and Fluoro D presentations, and it also gives an improved anti-eject Ronnie Claw.

This X version has a micro barbed pattern, with wire gauge and eye diameter increased step by step through the sizes. That adds strength and makes rigs easier to tie with the strongest hooklink materials. It is aimed at anglers targeting the largest carp on hard venues. Available in sizes 2, 4 and 6.
