Carp hooks from Nash's Pinpoint range, with a parallel point that opens up the gape. That suits larger hookbaits and rigs with shrink tube extensions, and the shape is meant to help the hook hold when fishing under load, such as near snags or in heavy weed.
The hooks have the Power Forge Bend, where tempering is concentrated on the high-stress areas of the high carbon steel. This gives a slightly flattened profile that adds strength and resists rotation and distortion. Supplied micro barbed in sizes 2, 4 and 6.
