The Continental X is a Nash Pinpoint pattern for 2025. It is based on the original Brute, but has a parallel point that widens the gape. That makes it a sensible choice for larger hookbaits and for shrink tube extensions, and it is intended to help hook holds when the fish is pulling hard, such as near snags or in heavy weed.
These are micro barbed X versions of the Pinpoint hook. Wire gauge and eye diameter both increase gradually from one size to the next, which adds strength and makes rigs easier to build with the strongest hooklink materials. They are aimed at anglers targeting the biggest carp on demanding waters. Available in sizes 2, 4 and 6, micro barbed only.
