The Scope OPS is a range of carp rods from Nash, built on 24 tonne low resin carbon blanks. A helical weave runs through the blank to limit distortion and help it recover after the cast. The rods pack down compactly, and the handle comes in an abbreviated black shrink finish.
There are 6ft, 9ft and 10ft models, with test curves from 3lb up to 4lb. The 3.75lb and 4lb rods are aimed at heavy leads, PVA bags and Dot Spods or markers. The 6ft 3.5lb suits the biggest carp in hard-to-reach spots. Every rod has the Butt Lock Peg connection, which can be fitted to the butt cap.
