The Scope OPS is a carp rod built on a 30 tonne high modulus carbon, low resin blank with a 1k Toray external weave. Fibres are laid at 45 degrees in several directions to cut down twist and lateral distortion, so the blank recovers cleanly after heavy loading. This version has a dark cork handle and a carbon pipe reel seat with engraved Nash logos and a flattened thumb grip.
It is offered here in 9ft and 10ft lengths, in 3.25lb and 3.5lb test curves. It suits anglers who want a well-finished rod for distance casting and accuracy. The patented Butt Lock Peg connection can be added to the butt cap.
