These connectors hold the two sections of a made-up rod together using an elastic strap, so the butt and tip stay snug and in place while you move between swims or travel to the lake. The strap does not need to be taken off the rod to be adjusted.
A length adjustment buckle lets you set the strap for 10, 12 and 13 foot two piece rods. There is also a D loop, which can take a shoulder strap (not supplied) for carrying, or be used to link several rods together. They suit anglers who walk or travel with their rods already built up.
